A team of 20 students from different schools with their teacher coordinator went for a day trip to the venue and spent some memorable hours with fun- filled activities. Students of grades VIII, IX and X were allowed to take part in the trip.

Five students of class X – Sagnik Das, Ritam Das, Sagnik Biswas, Ritaja Mukherjee and Dhrubojyoti Basu along with the middle school coordinator – Mr. Saptarshi Chakraborty, from our school (Techno India Group Public School-Ariadaha) participated in the trip. The bus reached the resort, and after enjoying the welcome drink the students went to visit the ‘Sundarban Wild Animal Park’. The symbiotic relationship between different elements of nature was witnessed by them. The students returned to the resort to have their lunch.

Soon after the lunch the students were taken to the community hall where they participated in a creative activity (Hanky Panky) and watched a documentary on Sundarbans. The day ended with group photographs. The students returned to Kolkata flagging the end of the trip.

The Tribal Museum at Eco Urban Village is designed to showcase the culture, history and art of tribes of Bengal, especially those from the districts of Birbhum, Bankura, Purulia. The museum displays artworks, musical instruments and unique aspects of the tribes and their ways of life.

Our students visited the Tribal Museum on 21st June,2023. The students truly enjoyed themselves by exploring the different artifacts, paintings and sculptures of the tribal people. The students were elated to witness Dokra art, tribal mask, fibre casting relief work, tribal painting with palette knife, Nokshi Kantha, Madhubani painting, Worli painting, Terracotta art. In their own way, they have tried to emulate the said art forms.

Our school encourages experiential learning. We, therefore, hope that our children learn to appreciate diverse art forms, and more importantly diverse culture.

The SST club, Anusandhātavya organised the 1st SEWA programme of the session on the occasion of Eid with the help and cooperation of our excursion committee, Trusted Tours.

CBSE, in its curriculum, has designed this SEWA or Social Empowerment through Work and Action programme to integrate social and community awareness among the students.

On 2.5.23, the students of Class IX went to Watgunge Adolescent Improvement Association to distribute clothes and sweets to the children with special needs and slum dwellers.

It was a fascinating experience for the students as they were able to understand the needs, dreams, and aspirations of these little children. For the students, it was one of the first kind of civic responsibility that they did as the proud citizens of our country.

This SEWA programme wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the coordinators of WATGUNGE ADOLESCENT IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION Ms.Fatema Khatoon ,Ms.Kiran Khatoon,Ms.Nazeen Begum and Ms.Firdaus Khan.

Anusandhātavya in collaboration with Trusted Tours (school excursion committee) organised this noble cause.

Finally Anusandhātavya wants to thank our Principal Debdutta Bera Adhya Madam for her continuous support and encouragement. Without her guidance, the programme would not have been possible.
