Hindi Day Celebration

Hindi Day is celebrated every year on 14 September because Hindi was declared the official language of India in Devnagari script on September 14, 1949. According to Indian Constitution, Hindi and Devnagari script is the official language of Indian Union. Hindi was accepted as the official language of India on this day after a long discussion of the Constitution. Hindi is the official language of India and the symbol of our country’s diversity. This language also symbolizes our rich cultural heritage. Hindi Day is an important and glorious day in Indian history, Hindi is a language spoken in different regions of India, and it is a symbol of unity of the country.
Hindi Day program was conducted by Hindi Club in our school’s special meeting today. Creative presentation by students such as poetry recitation, speech, group-song and drama presented a great atmosphere of Hindi culture and language.
