Techno India Group Public School-Ariadaha witnessed a thrilling Inter House Football Competition on 9th December 2023. Principal ma’am, Ms. Debdutta Bera Adhya started the tournament by the ceremony ‘Kicking off the ball’. With the vigorous training sessions coupled with all the excitement, the football tournament unfolded between four houses, Red, Blue, Yellow and Green.

The first match was played between Red House and Green House in which the latter snatched the victory by using fabulous crosses and passes. Green House won the match with the score of 4-1.

The second match was played between Blue and Yellow House in which Yellow House had an easy victory with the score of 4-0.

Results of the two qualifier matches resulted in Green House and Yellow House paving their way to the finals. The fierce and competitive final was in Green House’s favour. The finalists left the audience in awe by portraying extraordinary skillset and eye-catching goals. Being the most interesting and entertaining match of this group, all the untiring players played in synergy. With goal-making free-kicks, daring penetrations through the defence and precise passing, it bore the result of 5-2 with Green House being the champion and Yellow House finishing the tournament with the 2nd position.

Red House grabbed the 3rd position from the Blue army with the score of 9-1.

All the teams employed creative strategies. The matches were breath-taking and action-packed, filled with spectacular goals. Decked with sneaky crosses and a hoard of trickeries, the tables turned around with the blink of an eye making it more of a game of chess rather than a football match.

The day comes to an end by announcing Utsab Kumar Ojha (VII A) as The Best Player, and by declaring Naitik Shaw (VIII B) as The Best Goalkeeper.

During the tournament, the unending hard work and the tremendous efforts put by all the House Masters and coaches were eloquently visible in the players’ skills.
